Do your pianos have Softfall / Slowfall fitted?

There are currently two different piano soft fall systems that we can offer.

1. On the cheek block

The first is an inexpensive device that sits on the cheek block of the piano, next to the keyboard and prevents the lid from closing too quickly. The device costs £30 and it can be fitted easily (it simply sticks on to the piano). Here is a photograph:

2. Integrated within the hinge

The second device that we can offer (at the Manchester showroom) is a more discreet soft fall system. This option is more expensive at around £130. The device is fitted within the hinge of the piano lid and cannot be seen, it distributes the weight of the lid through the new hinge parts and prevents the lid from closing too quickly. If your chosen piano is in Manchester then £130 is the total price. However, if you choose a piano from our London showroom, you will need to pay an extra £100 to cover the piano transport fee back to Manchester for the conversion work.
