Who will tune your piano
Your tuner will be Joe, Georgia or Ben. They work in our own workshop, where they tune and prepare every piano we sell, so they see a great many pianos of every age and make.
If they spot anything that needs more than a tuning, you will hear about it from us plainly and with a price, and there is never any pressure to go ahead.
How booking works
- Fill in the short form with your address and the days you can be in.
- We plan visits by area, and email you a date when our tuner is near you.
- Your tuner comes on the day, and we email you an invoice after the visit.
What it costs
A tuning costs £80 plus VAT, which is £96 in total. You pay after the visit.
How often should a piano be tuned?
At least twice a year. A piano drifts out of tune as the seasons change, because the wood in it takes in moisture in damp weather and dries out when the heating goes on. Regular tuning keeps it pleasant to play and stops small problems turning into bigger ones.
A piano that has just been moved, or has not been tuned for a few years, may need a second visit to settle fully. Your tuner will tell you if so.
Schools and churches
We tune for schools, churches and choirs too. Use the same form and mention it in the notes, and we can fit the visit around term dates or a service.

It takes a couple of minutes. Tell us where the piano is and which days you can be in.
