What first-hand evidence is published?

The evidence library contains individual PDFs derived from retained invoices, packing lists, shipment spreadsheets and freight documents. Each PDF gives a stable public evidence ID, evidence date, document type, piano count, a SHA-256 hash of the retained source, masked piano rows where available, and a privacy-filtered facsimile.

Private commercial and identifying details have been removed or obscured. Complete source files are not published.

The clearest single example is a matched 2016 chain: supplier invoice, ocean carrier bill of lading, arrival notice and UK freight record for one shipment of 16 pianos.

The important limit

This is a documentary reconstruction, not an audited sales tally. The supported public wording is more than 3,600 pianos imported from Japan. The 1,458 summary-supported pianos are deliberately separated from the 2,206 item-level rows.

Revised lists are counted once using the final retained version. Duplicates, stools, parts, future orders and records identified as still in transit were excluded. The matched 2016 chain supports a shipment already counted in the total; its 16 pianos are not added twice.

Why publish it?

Big numbers are easy to repeat and difficult for a customer to check. The library lets you inspect the dates, document types, masked piano records and retained-source hashes yourself.

For a buyer, scale does not automatically guarantee a good piano. It does show the continuity and depth of our experience importing Yamaha and other pianos from Japan.
