HOW DOES HUW CHOOSE OUR COMPETITION WINNERS?

Anyone who enters our competitions gets given a number. Whoever’s number Huw reads out first during BBC1’s News at 10 is the winner.

WHAT IF THERE ARE MULTIPLE PRIZES?

If there are 3 prizes up for grabs Huw will choose the 3 winners based on the first 3 numbers that he reads out live on air. So if Huw says “Theresa May reveals that she has to count to 5 every time Boris Johnson opens his mouth” and then “Donald Trump sent 3 threatening tweets to EU leaders before breakfast followed by 2 love letters to Kim Jong Un after lunch” then numbers 5, 2 and 3 will be the winners.

WILL HUW FIX IT TO HELP HIS FRIENDS WIN?

Huw has faithfully promised us that he will never doctor his news reports in order to help his friends win our competitions.

WILL NUMBER 10 WIN EVERY TIME?

Huw likes to open his show with “Welcome to the news at 10” so we have decided that Huw’s prize draw doesn’t start until after he has welcomed viewers to the News at 10.
