Kawai BS1A Upright Piano
The Kawai BS1A is one of the Japanese Kawai uprights from the BS range that we bring in from Japan. It is closely related to the BS1N, with the letters usually marking a small difference in finish or specification rather than a different piano underneath.
Like all the BS uprights it was made in Japan, full-size, with the warm Kawai tone. We check the model and serial on every one and prepare it fully in our workshop before it is sold. Exact height and finish vary by piano, so ask us about the one we have.
The BS1A suits a family who wants an honest reconditioned Japanese upright with a slightly mellower voice than a Yamaha. Compare the two side by side if you can.
