Kawai BS20 Upright Piano
The Kawai BS20, including the BS20 Special, is one of the Japanese Kawai uprights we bring in from Japan, and one of the more common ones. It is a full-size upright, about 125cm tall, with 88 keys and three pedals, made in Japan.
At that height it is a proper full-size piano, in the same territory as a Yamaha U1 or U3, with the warm, even Kawai tone. The “Special” is a higher-trim version of the same model. Every one is checked by model and serial and prepared in our workshop before it is sold.
The BS20 is a sensible choice if you want a reconditioned Japanese upright with a fuller, mellower voice than a Yamaha. Play the two side by side if you can.
