Kawai BS40 Upright Piano
The Kawai BS40, including the BS40 Special, is the top of the BS upright range we bring in from Japan. It is a full-size Japanese upright, made in Japan, with 88 keys and a full, warm tone.
As a rule the higher numbers in the BS range are the larger or better-specified models, so the BS40 is the most substantial of them, and the “Special” is a higher-trim version again. Every one is checked by model and serial and prepared in our workshop before sale.
If you want the best of the BS uprights, the BS40 is the one to try. It stands comfortably alongside a Yamaha U3, so play the two and see which voice you prefer.
