Kawai NS Series Upright Pianos
The NS series ran in the late 1980s and early 1990s, bridging Kawai’s older ranges and the modern K series that followed. They are bright, lively Japanese uprights with a clean, responsive feel.
If you like a piano with a bit of sparkle to the tone, an NS can be a lovely thing to play, and being that bit newer than the 1970s ranges, good examples are still going strong. As always the height varies across the range, so check the model for your room.
A reconditioned NS suits a player who wants a slightly brighter, more modern-feeling Kawai. We prepare each one fully before it is sold.
