We are listing this piano on behalf of one of our piano tuners, John. We are listing it here as a favour to John and if you were to buy this piano then you will be buying it direct from John, not through our piano shop. That means your “contract” is with John in his capacity as a private seller. John bought this piano brand new in 2020 and it has had only light use since then, being kept in his living room, not used for any professional work such as gigging, etc.
This is the original Aures from 2020 and features the LCD on the “cheek block” (next to the keys) which is very convenient. The newer version, Aures 2, no longer has the physical controls on the cheek block. Instead, you have to use the app on your phone or tablet.
The Kawai Aures 2 is retail at around £7500 in most UK piano shops so this Aures 1 represents a wonderful saving. It’s the same underlying piano, the same transducers are used on the soundboard, but you are saving thousands compared with the new price.
