Selling Your Steinway
We buy Steinway pianos from private owners all over the UK. Grands and uprights, Hamburg and New York, polished or tired. If you are thinking of selling, we would like to hear from you.
The models we are most keen on
- Grands: Model A, Model B, Model C and Model D
- Uprights: Model V, Model K and Model Z
We will look at any Steinway, including the smaller S, M and O grands and older uprights. Condition matters less than you might think. We have our own workshop and spray booth, so a piano that needs work is not a problem for us.
How it works
- Send us the details. The serial number, a few photos and your postcode. That is all we need to start.
- We come back with an honest offer. If we need more information, we will ask. You are under no obligation.
- We collect it for free. Collection is free from a ground floor room. If there are stairs, we tell you the cost up front.

Your other options, honestly
Selling to us is quick and simple, but it is not the only way. A private sale can bring in more money if you have the time to deal with viewings, time-wasters and arranging a specialist mover. An auction is quick, but prices for Steinways at general auctions can be low and fees take a slice. Part-exchange at a dealer is easy if you are buying something else.
