Yamaha U1A Upright Piano Review
Yamaha U1A
The U1A is the Yamaha U1 of 1982 to 1987. It was made in Japan and brought improved styling and action over the U1H and U1M.
It tends to have a stronger tone than the earlier versions. It also tends to cost a little more.
If the extra is within your budget, it is a very good piano. If not, a U1H or U1M will serve you well.
Our serial number lookup will confirm the year any Yamaha was made.
Here are some U1A pianos that we’ve had in stock.
