Yamaha U1E Upright Piano Review
Yamaha U1E
The U1E is the Yamaha U1 of the mid to late 1960s. It was made in Japan, like every U1.
Its action is steadier than the earliest U1s, and a good one is a solid older piano. Age matters at this point, so only consider one that has been properly reconditioned.
If your budget allows, a U1H from the 1970s usually gives better value.
Our serial number lookup will confirm the year any Yamaha was made.
Here are some U1E pianos that we’ve had in stock.
