Notes from Mark & Julie
This piano has a known history from brand new. Here is the full description in the words of the previous owner, our friend Ross Hammond, piano teacher from Gloucester (Ross has now bought the stunning Yamaha C7 that we had in stock a few weeks ago).
My C3 Serial is E 4721032 – Made in 1989. The piano has had only one previous owner – a guy in cheltenham who had a Hammond Organ built into his house and the C3 was a show piece on a platform in his halfway.I bought it in 2014 from The Cheltenham Piano Centre and it was sold to me by Simon Peg’s jazz pianist Father, John Beckingham, who worked in the Shop.
When I purchased it I had David Goldwag replace the key tops with modern ones, after cleaning the previous ones multiple times. He also regulated the piano fully. Andrew Reeves has maintained the piano every 4 to 5 months since then. It is in immaculate condition.
So whoever buys this piano will be the 3rd owner from new.
How does it sound? How does it feel? Well I’m pleased to report that it’s an immense joy to play this piano and I’d love for you to come and try it out to see if you agree. It has a perfect touch-weight and a wonderfully rich tone. You couldn’t ask for more. It’s very easy for me to say that so I encourage you to come and try it out to show that I’m not exaggerating.
