Yamaha C5 made in 2005, 61124xx, £18990

We acquired this C5 from a theatre in Gloucester who emailed us saying:
We have a 2005 Yamaha C3 available – it has been relatively unused in our theatre since new, and it in excellent condition.
So we asked a local piano technician, Andrew Reeves, to inspect the C5 for us and this was his response:
Hello Mark I think I have tuned this piano a few years ago it was in very good condition when I saw it on that occasion. I would expect it to be the same now unless anything untoward has happened to it so it probably doesn’t need me to go and have a look
I took Andrew’s advice and we brought the piano in without inspection and wow we are very impressed with it. It has indeed been very well cared for physically and musically. I sat to play it and was blown away by the quality of tone. It currently has a bright and punchy energetic tone which can be softened to a softer, sweeter, “European” tone if you prefer.
Viewing highly recommend. A real musician’s piano.
