We bought this U3S brand new in 2005. It has regrettably had very light usage by two beginner children. It is in very good
condition. We are looking to sell it as it hasn’t been played in a long while. – Guy from London

Regarding the price, a new Yamaha U3S in white is £11,695 from Richard Lawson or £11,999 from Rimmers. Ours is over £4000-£4500 cheaper and in brand new condition.

What is the Yamaha U3?

The U3 is Yamaha’s full-size upright and the one most teachers point you towards. It is taller than the U1, with longer strings and a bigger soundboard, so the tone is deeper and fuller. A properly prepared one lasts for decades and suits everyone from a keen beginner to an advanced player.
