Hi Mark ,we bought the piano brand new from chris venables pianos ,hampshire BH24 1HE,the invoice date was 17th jan 2002 and the piano was delivered to me on 7th feb 2002,the piano was for my daughters who were both pupils at Chethams school of music, they continued to use the piano until they went to university ,approx time frame 8 years during which time the piano was tuned regularly,since 2010 the piano was rarely used and the tunings neglected.Hope this helps,Best regards Mike.

What is the Yamaha U3?
The U3 is Yamaha’s full-size upright and the one most teachers point you towards. It is taller than the U1, with longer strings and a bigger soundboard, so the tone is deeper and fuller. A properly prepared one lasts for decades and suits everyone from a keen beginner to an advanced player.
