Are Schimmel Pianos Good?

Yes, on the whole, but the honest answer depends entirely on which Schimmel, because the name now covers three very different tiers.

Which Schimmel

  1. Konzert and Classic, made in Germany, are fine top-end pianos with a clear, precise tone. These are the real German Schimmels.
  2. Wilhelm Schimmel, built in Poland, is a good mid-range piano.
  3. Fridolin Schimmel, built in China, is a decent entry-level piano.

Our view
