Schimmel Piano Prices
“How much is a Schimmel?” depends heavily on which line, because the name covers everything from a hand-built German flagship to an entry piano built in China.
The three tiers
A Konzert or Classic Schimmel, made in Germany, is a top-end piano at a top-end price. A Wilhelm Schimmel, built in Poland, costs a good deal less. A Fridolin Schimmel, built in China, is the entry level and cheaper again. Always check which one you are being quoted.
Used prices
On the used market, older German Schimmels can be good value, while the newer cheaper lines are priced against other budget and mid-range pianos. As always, condition matters more than age. See our buying guide.
