New prices
A new Petrof grand costs well below the equivalent German grand, and a new Petrof upright sits above the mass-market Japanese uprights but below the German ones. You are paying for a hand-built European piano, at a sensible price for what it is.
Used prices
On the used market Petrofs are less common in the UK than Yamahas, so you may need to look, but they can be very good value, because the name is less famous here. As always, condition and any rebuild history matter more than age. See our buying guide.
