This piano was sold by us back in 2011 to a lovely family from London who have recently sent us the following info by email:

The was purchased from you by our daughter in 2011. Unfortunately after only a few months she had to move to another apartment and the U3 was too big to fit in. We were in need of a newer piano at the time so we purchased it from her and you kindly transported it from London to Lincoln in 2012. It has remained in the same room ever since. It has been played regularly during that time. Indeed my wife is a piano teacher and so it is in regular use. It has been tuned regularly over that time with the last tuning being approx 1 year ago. It remains in excellent condition. There are a few minor surface scratches on the cabinet. The reason for the enquiry is that we are looking to relocate and will not be able to take the piano with us.

As you can see, it has been well looked after and has been kept in regular use by a piano teacher.

The price shown here is because this piano has not yet been polished. Musically it is in great condition, it is just waiting to have its cabinet made perfect in our workshop. The price will rise by £1500 once the work is complete but you may buy at this lower price if you don’t mind that the cabinet is not in showroom condition. In this case I give the piano a score or 7/10. It’s almost an 8/10 but those marks either side of the keyboard keep it down to 7/10 even though we can fix them easily. It’s in good condition.
